The evening of November 1, 2008 was a special night for the supporters of Hillcrest Transitional Housing of Kansas. Staff members of Hillcrest worked tirelessly to provide a lovely setting at the Ritz Charles and thank attendees and also honor several people. The Corporate Partner of the Year was awarded to Epoxy Coating Specialists. Epoxy Coating Specialists is sthe proud sponsor of the annual Walk for the Homeless as well as the Gala & Auction. Their committment to Hillcrest and willingness to help the homeless inspires evryone to make a difference in the lives of others.
The Guest Speaker was Teresa Honeycutt who shared her story of how she & her 4 young children overcame the obstacles presented by homelessness, and became self-sufficient with the help of Hillcrest and its volunteers.
