The American Royal Junior Premiem Livestock Auction each year proves to be one of excitment and expectation.. Sunday night, November 2, 2008 was no exception! Brock May presented his Grand Champion Steer "Frye Guy " which sold for $75,000.00 with the winning bidders being Bryan and Nancy Beaver of Carter Energy Corp.
Additional Winners include: Reserve Grand Champion selling for $25,000.00, Grand Champion Hog sold to Neal and Jeanne Patterson for $17,000.00, Reserve Grand Champion Hog sold at $12,500.00, Grand Champion Lamb selling for $8,500.00 to the Saddle & Sirloin Syndicate, Grand Reserve Lamb purchased by BOTAR at $5,000.00, Grand Champion Goat sold for $10,000.00 to Neal and Jeanne Patterson and the Grand Reserve Champion goat was purchased by Tom and Jill Turner for $5,500.00.
